Phonics and Reading Information Session
We would like to invite Reception parents and carers to an information session on Thursday 27th February at 2.30pm to share the importance of phonics, including reading.
We are a Read Write Inc school, and this scheme is used in daily phonics and reading lessons in Reception and KS1. We understand all parents and carers have differing understanding of phonics and we would like to offer our support.
During the meeting, we will provide an understanding of what phonics is, how it is taught, along with strategies for home reading. To finish we will welcome any questions.
The session will take place in the school hall.
