Nursery Lead: Miss Knight.

 

Hello, my name is Miss Knight. I have been working with children of various ages and abilities since 2021, when I began studying for my Level 3 qualification in Early Years. My passion for early childhood education inspired me to continue my studies, and I have since completed both a Foundation Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Children's Development and Learning.

I am currently studying at the University of Reading to achieve Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS). I love supporting children as they grow and develop across all areas of learning, particularly through play-based experiences and opportunities that connect learning to the real world.

I am especially passionate about outdoor learning and the benefits it brings to children's development. This interest led me to train as a qualified Forest School Leader, allowing me to encourage children to explore, discover, and learn through nature.

Outside of nursery, I enjoy taking long walks with my two wonderful Border Collies, Tilly and Wilfred, spending quality time with family and friends, and getting lost in a good book.
