GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Welcome to Our Nursery

Windmill primary school54Our Nursery has opened following increasing demand from existing parents and our local community. We offer funded places to children from the age of 2 years old. Starting in our Nursery is the beginning of an exciting journey through Windmill Primary School!

From the moment your child joins us our Nursery team will invest all their time and 
energy in helping them settle in well, develop their interests, make friends, learn lots of new and exciting things and come out each day with a smile!  

The foundations we build in Nursery are crucial to each child developing a love of learning and being ready to start in Reception.

We will provide a safe and secure setting in which children have access to a vibrant and stimulating indoor and outdoor area. We encourage children to develop their skills and independence through play-based learning. 

Our Nursery is open term time, and the Nursery start and finish times support the school day as many of our parents have siblings in both nursery and the main school.
