Year 2 Zoo Lab Visit

Year Two Barn Owl Class had a fantastic visit from the Zoo Lab. A number of creepy crawlies and cute little creatures came to say hello and we even held a few!

 

We were overwhelmed with facts but here are just a few: slugs have hundreds of tiny teeth which act like sandpaper to chomp through food; snails grow with their shells and tarantulas flick tiny hairs at predators when they are trying to protect themselves.
